With summer right around the corner, it’s time to start making plans to go outside and enjoy the warm weather with friends and family. This means trips to the beach, barbeques, and also the need for refreshing drinks.
We got our latest choices of flavored wines for 2021 from our favorite neighborhood grocery store Trader Joe’s that everybody can drink and enjoy. You do not need to be a wine connoisseur or even a wine-lover to enjoy flavored wines, lighter, low alcohol wines that are infused flavors. These drinks also don’t break bank, allowing you to continue to party all summer long without worrying about your wallet.
What is Trader Joe’s?
If you’ve never heard of Trader Joe’s, it’s a boutique grocery store chain in America that provides high-quality, unique specialty goods at inexpensive prices. Trader Joe’s has a cult-following, as there is always something new and delicious to try as well as the staff is always friendly and helpful. If you haven’t been, go find the nearest location and check it out.
1. Trader Joe’s Secco Bellinis and Rossinis (Peach, Strawberry-Raspberry, Grapefruit, or Mango)
What’s better than one flavor of Trader Joe’s Secco? Four flavors: Secco Peach Bellini, Secco Strawberry-Raspberry Rossini, Secco Grapefruit Pompelini and Secco Mango Bellini! And you can’t beat the price ($5.99 per bottle) for this summer drink. Chill it in the fridge and this Prosecco-based sparkling wine drink is ready to serve, perfect for a light brunch with friends that spills into the afternoon. We personally recommend the Peach-flavored Secco Bellini as we felt that it was the most versatile as well as balanced flavor out of the four types. But with a price of $5.99 a bottle, get all four flavors and see which one you like!
2. Trader Joe’s “Love, Olivia” Flavored Wine in Watermelon or Peach Flavors
ABV: 7.5% to 8.0%
This drink is sweet and refreshing, a perfect sip during a hot summer day. Like the Secco Bellini, it should be chilled before serving and also can be used as an ingredient to enhance a fruit-infused drink like Sangria. We personally liked this as a spritzer (i.e. add one part Love, Olivia to two parts sparkling water) – yum! This sweet afternoon apertif quenches your thirst, all the while giving you a little buzz.
There are two flavors: Love, Olivia’s Watermelon Flavored Wine and Love, Olivia’s Peach Flavored Wine
