If paired with food, it is recommended to drink this wine with shellfish, grilled fish, tangy cheese (like goat cheese), strawberries, or even sweet potato dishes.

Our taste testing team was split on this wine. This wine has nuances of dark fruits and berries, but what was “controversial” was the actual sweetness of the wine: this sweetness was either just right or just too much. It is suggested that this Sweet Red should be paired with roast beef, duck in a cherry sauce, Gorgonzola cheese, lasagna, sautéed mushrooms, or butternut squash with kale. Today is Day 2 (of 12) of the wine sampling: a white wine from Spain Reflective Wings Chardonnay (2020). Our team loved this Chardonnay as it had sweet and crisp citrus and apple notes. This wine pairs well with seafood (it was so good with our calamari steak and caper butter sauce), hard cheeses and other salty foods.
